About
SANSNiK
The name means without pain. The first object is The Contour Bar, a cleansing bar that bends in the hand and then finds its shape again.
Pronounced SANS-nick. From sans, without, and nik, pain.
Name
Without pain.
SANSNiK is from sans (without) and nik (pain). Pronounced SANS-nick. Daily tools should not ask for a small, pointless sacrifice.
Most everyday objects still ask the body to adapt to them. We design the other way.
A conventional bar sits in the hand like a stone. The Contour Bar bends, then it comes back, whether the water is warm or cold. On our flexibility scale that middle point is a 5, between a pourable wash and a rigid bar.

First object
The Contour Bar
It is a cleansing bar that follows the hand. We ship two finishes, Smooth and With Grit, and one scent, so the choice stays about how it feels against the skin.

Why we make it ourselves.
Luke Anderson spent two years learning how a bar could bend and still come back. We make it ourselves because a rented soap line was never going to hold that shape. Batches stay small. We ship them straight to you.
Direct-to-consumer for now. Retail later. The work is the object — not a club and not a campaign about soap.
