How does the STROPPi work?

Application of lubricant to your razor is achieved by a simple process of stropping. Simply strop your razor's blades down the surface of the STROPPi several times, making sure to wet both your blade and bar before stropping. Remember to mount the STROPPi before attempting to strop it. Mounting straightens the bar's surface and ensures even lubrication. Attempting to hold the bar in hand or failing to properly mount the bar may lead to injury or inconsistent lubrication.
How is the STROPPi different from traditional shaving lubricants?
Traditional shaving lubricants are applied to the skin. This limits their ability to work well with modern, cartridge style razors as the blades are unable to make consistent contact with applied shaving cream due to the design of the razor head.
Rather than the blade making contact with the applied shaving cream as you shave, the edge of the razor head pushes cream away from the blades, leading to a drier and less protective shave. In many instances, this can promote razor burn and skin irritation. The STROPPi avoids this by applying lubricant directly to the blades ensuring consistent lubrication. Why would I use the STROPPi instead of shaving cream?
Unlike traditional shaving creams, the STROPPi is specifically designed for shower shavers who use modern cartridge razors. Traditional shaving creams aren’t ideal in water-rich environments since they rinse away quickly and often fail to reach the blades. Cartridge razor heads also tend to push cream aside, reducing its effectiveness as you shave.

Where can I use the STROPPi?

Using the STROPPi in the shower allows you to have easy access to water as you shave, allowing you to wet the bar's surface, the blades of your razor, and the surface of your skin for a smooth glide and softened hair for greater shaving comfort. The steam of your shower also softens the STROPPi's surface, allowing the bar's surface to break up smoothly as you strop it with your razor, ensuring consistent and rich lubrication. In the shower, be sure to select a smooth and non-porous surface such as tile, smooth stone, composite, plastic, or glass to mount the STROPPi.
Where should I mount the STROPPi for best results?
For best results, we recommend mounting the STROPPi in an easy-to-reach area close to where you shave most often. If you shave facial hair, position the bar at head height to make re-stropping between passes simple and efficient. For shaving legs, underarms, or the bikini area, mount it lower for comfortable access, especially if you shave while seated.
For the most secure mounting and longest bar life, choose a smooth, uninterrupted, and non-porous surface such as large, polished tile, untextured plastic or composite, or smooth, preferably polished stone. Avoid textured, uneven, or porous areas, as they may compromise adhesion. Be sure the bar is completely dry before mounting and only moderately wetted during use; placing it in a spot with minimal direct shower spray helps prevent waterlogging, which can cause the bar to swell, soften, and become unstuck. By mounting the STROPPi close to your shaving area, on the right surface, and out of constant water flow, you’ll ensure a secure hold, extend the bar’s lifespan, and maintain peak stropping performance.
What should I do if the STROPPi doesn't stick?
If you are having difficulty getting the STROPPi to adhere well to any surface in your shower, we recommend mounting the STROPPi to a small, handheld tile. If instead, the bar attempts to fall off the wall, we recommend washing the bar, drying it, and allowing it full air dry before remounting it. Be sure to wash and dry the mounting surface as well before remounting the bar. If the bar appears warped and won't mount flush to your chosen surface, flip the bar and mount it on the opposite side. Can I use any razor with the STROPPi?
While most razors can technically be used with it, the STROPPi is specifically designed for cartridge-style razors with three or more blades.
We do not recommend using single-blade or double-blade safety razors. Multi-blade cartridges not only offer better safety during shaving but also apply more even pressure to both the bar and your blades as you strop, ensuring a smoother strop and a more consistent lubrication.
Can I use too much water when using the STROPPi?
Water is the key to a smooth shave. One of the main advantages of the STROPPi is the fact it can act as a protective shaving lubricant that will not wash away in water rich environments. This unlocks a shave in which you can enjoy softer skin and hair together with a smoother, safer glide. All the benefits of a dry shave in the more ideal environment of a wet shave.
That said, you can overdo it. Excessive soaking or prolonged direct spray can water-log the bar, causing it to delaminate from its mounting surface. Over time, water-logging can also soften the surface too much, leading to increased wear during stropping. You can not have too much water on your skin, but you can have too much on the STROPPi. As with all things—balance is key.
How long does the STROPPi last?
The STROPPi is built for durability and designed to stay with you through weeks of smooth, consistent shaves.
On average, it lasts for at least 30 shaves, though its lifespan may vary depending on several factors including water type, shaving frequency, stropping pressure, and how often the bar has been moved or remounted. How does the SOOTHi work?
The SOOTHi is a two part, moisturizing product designed to easily cool and refresh your skin after any shave or when struggling with dry skin. Applied by hand once wetted, the SOOTHi features a dual layer structure composed of gripping layer, for added grip once wet, and a moisturizing layer, for easy and simple skin hydration.
When not in use, the SOOTHi is stored horizontally on any surface in your bathroom. We recommend keeping the product dry and isolated for guaranteed longterm use. To use it as a daily moisturizer, simply follow the same steps as you would after shaving: wet both the bar and your skin before application to activate the moisturizing layer and ensure smooth glide. Is the SOOTHi safe for sensitive or acne-prone skin?

Where should I store the SOOTHi?

No matter where you store it, always place the bar with the textured grip side facing down. This keeps the moisturizing layer elevated, allowing it to air dry fully between uses and preventing it from sitting in moisture, which can cause softening it or lead to premature wear.

Even if the kit still appears functional after three months, its materials will start to age in ways that can affect performance. You may notice changes in texture, especially with the STROPPi. Can I use any or all of these soaps on my hair and face?
While not fully recommended, it is safe to use SANSNiK Soaps on both your hair and face.
Our formulas are gentle and skin-friendly, so they won’t cause harm if applied to these areas. However, they are specifically designed for body use, meaning you may not get the same targeted benefits for hair or facial care as you would with products formulated for those purposes.
Can I use any SANSNiK soap if I have sensitive skin?
Yes. All SANSNiK soaps are specifically designed for sensitive or easily-aggravated skin.
Unlike traditional bar soaps, they hold moisture like a body wash, so they won’t dry out your skin as you wash. In fact, our unique formulations actively moisturize, leaving your skin smooth, healthy, and comfortable even after you’ve left the shower. Over time, this means your skin won’t be stressed by soap and will remain softer, smoother, and more nourished for the long term.
That said, if you’re looking at our exfoliating varieties, a few of them include a gentle scrub ingredients like pumice that will give the soap a slightly more textured feel. Most sensitive-skin users enjoy the added friction, however, if your skin is extremely reactive, you may prefer to avoid these varieties.
Is SANSNiK Soap safe to use for young children or infants?
No, SANSNiK soaps are not recommended for infants or very young children, as their delicate skin requires gentler, specially formulated products.
Our current formulas are designed for older children, teens, and adults, and may be too concentrated or exfoliating for very young skin. Infants and young children have especially sensitive skin that can be easily irritated. That said, we plan to launch a dedicated line for children in the future, crafted with the same care, safety, and natural ingredients that SANSNiK is known for.
Are any or all of the soaps antibacterial?
Yes. All SANSNiK soaps are antibacterial and feature thyme oil, a natural, skin-friendly antibacterial agent.
We intentionally avoid conventional synthetic agents like Triclosan and Triclocarban, which are often linked to irritation, hormonal disruption, and environmental harm. By choosing thyme oil, we provide a safer, more sustainable antibacterial solution that supports both your skin health and the planet. The result is an effective antibacterial soap that never compromises your body or the environment. It also means as they biodegrade, our bar's leave zero harmful chemicals behind.
What type of colorant is used in SANSNiK Soaps? Is it safe?
SANSNiK Soaps use mica, a naturally derived mineral colorant that is safe for all skin types, including sensitive skin.
Mica has been used for centuries in cosmetics and skincare largely thanks to the fact it's rich in color, non-toxic, and non-irritating. Thanks to the fact it's naturally-derived, it’s also fully biodegradable. In short, we don't use harmful or artificial colorants in an effort to ensure our soaps are safe, beautiful, and eco-friendly.
How long will my soap last?
It depends on the specific product, but most SANSNiK soaps are designed to last several weeks of regular use.

How long does it take for your products to biodegrade?

The exact timing depends on where the material ends up (soil, compost, or landfill), but every component is engineered to return to the earth far faster than traditional plastics or mixed-material packaging. Instead of lingering for years, our materials decompose on a natural timeline, leaving no microplastics, chemicals, or residues behind. Do I need to compost my SANSNiK product?
No. Our materials break down naturally without needing a compost setup of any kind.
While a compost environment can speed things along, it isn’t required for our products to degrade. Whether they end up in a home compost, an industrial facility, or even a landfill, the materials are designed to break down safely and completely—without releasing toxins, microplastics, or harmful residues. Can I recycle the packaging instead?
No. Our packaging isn’t meant to be recycled. It’s designed to biodegrade naturally on its own.
Traditional recycling systems are built for plastics, metals, and certain types of paper, which our materials intentionally don’t mimic. Because our packaging is formulated to break down safely and completely, it won’t move through recycling streams the way conventional materials do. Instead, it follows a much simpler end-of-life path: once discarded, it begins to decompose. This approach reduces dependency on recycling infrastructure and eliminates the risk of contamination caused by “non-recyclable” items being sent to recycling facilities.
How are SANSNiK's “biodegradable” claims different from other companies?
We use materials that are fully and safely biodegradable (no microplastics, no special facilities required). If it carries the SANSNiK name, it breaks down cleanly and completely.
Many companies use biodegradable as a loose marketing term. Some plastics only degrade under industrial conditions, while others simply break into microplastics that persist in the environment. Our standards are far stricter. Every ingredient we use is tested not just for its ability to biodegrade, but for the impact it has once it enters the environment. If it leaves behind anything harmful, it doesn’t make it into our formulas.
That same commitment extends to our packaging. All SANSNiK packaging, even down to the shipping labels, is fully paper-based, zero-plastic, and designed to decompose naturally without residue. Biodegradability isn’t an add-on for us; it’s built into every product decision we make, from the ingredients inside the soap to the box and label it arrives in.
Does biodegradable or eco-friendly mean less effective?
No. Our products are designed to perform just as well as traditional options—often even better.
“Eco-friendly” shouldn’t mean weaker or compromised. For us, sustainability is an engineering choice, not a trade-off. Every product is built to be durable in your hands, effective on your skin, and reliable throughout its entire useful life. The biodegradability only begins after the product’s job is done, never while you’re using it. We don’t release anything that feels flimsy, underperforms, or breaks down prematurely. You get full performance first, and responsible end-of-life design second.
Are your products safe for waterways and marine environments?
Yes. Our ingredients are selected so that, even if they enter natural waterways, they won’t cause harm, even in larger quantities.
Every formula we create avoids the synthetic polymers, microplastics, and persistent chemicals that often accumulate in oceans, rivers, and groundwater. Instead, we use materials that naturally break down into harmless components, reducing long-term impact on aquatic ecosystems. This ensures that accidental runoff or residue doesn’t contribute to pollution, making our products safe from start to finish.
Are your labels, adhesives, and inks biodegradable too?
Yes. Our labels and adhesives are fully biodegradable. The only exception is our ink, which isn’t biodegradable yet (but we’re actively working toward that).

Yes. All SANSNiK products are safe for use on sensitive skin. However, if your skin is highly sensitive, we recommend patch testing before full use.

Will your products clog pores or cause breakouts?
No. All of our products are designed to leave your skin clear and healthy.
The only exception may be the SOOTHi, which naturally deposits a thin layer of moisturizer to protect and hydrate. If applied over unwashed skin, it may potentially clog pores. To maintain clean, comfortable skin, we recommend using the SOOTHi only after washing your face or body.

Can I track my order?
Yes, you can track your order, but tracking is not automatically included with standard shipments. If you’d like to monitor your package in real time, we offer an optional tracking service available for an additional fee at checkout.
We’ve designed our default shipping options to keep costs as low as possible, which means tracking isn’t automatically included with every order. However, we understand the peace of mind that comes with knowing exactly where your package is and when it will arrive. That’s why we offer an optional tracking upgrade at checkout. Once selected, you’ll receive a tracking number as soon as your order ships, allowing you to follow its journey from our warehouse to your door. If you’ve already placed an order unfortunately, you can not add tracking after the fact. So if tracking is necessary for you, please make sure to choose it as an add on at checkout.
Where do you ship to?
We currently ship to all 50 states within the United States. At this time, international shipping isn’t available, but we’re actively working to expand our reach sometime in the next few months.
