1. Stick
...The STROPPi to any smooth surface in your shower such as tile, glass, or composite
2. Wet
...your razor, skin, and facial hair in the shower to soften hair and improve razor glide
3. Strop
...your wetted razor against the STROPPi to coat its blades in protective lubricant
4. Shave
...as normal. Rinse and re-strop your razor between passes as needed

What materials does the STROPPi stick to?
The STROPPi is designed to easily mount to any smooth, non-porous surface in your bathroom. This includes smooth tile, polished stone, plastic or composite, and glass. Always be sure both the bar and the mounting surface is clean and dry.
Do not mount to surfaces such as wood, textured stone, or concrete as the bar will become easily unmounted from the surface. If your bathroom lacks any smooth surfaces ideal for mounting, we recommend mounting the bar to a handheld tile. This ensures easy stropping while guaranteeing the bar remains flat and safety away from your skin.
Important: Never attempt to use the STROPPi directly in your hand. The bar can become slippery when wet and may lead to slipping or injury when stropped.
Can the STROPPi be removed and remounted?
Yes. The STROPPi is designed to be removed and re-stuck multiple times.
However, frequent repositioning can increase the risk of wear or damage over time. If you need to move it regularly—such as for daily use—we recommend mounting it to a handheld tile. This allows you to relocate it easily without repeatedly reapplying it to different surfaces. If traveling, stick the bar to a small card (like a credit card). This allows you to easy use and store the bar while on the go.
Can I use any razor with the STROPPi?
While most razors can technically be used with it, the STROPPi is specifically designed for cartridge-style razors with three or more blades.
We do not recommend using single-blade or double-blade safety razors. Multi-blade cartridges not only offer better safety during shaving but also apply more even pressure to both the bar and your blades as you strop, ensuring a smoother strop and a more consistent lubrication.
How long does the STROPPi last?
The STROPPi is built for durability and designed to stay with you through weeks of smooth, consistent shaves.
On average, it provides approximately 14 weeks of use, though its lifespan may vary depending on several factors including water type, shaving frequency, stropping pressure, and how often the bar has been moved or remounted. In most cases, it should last even longer. In most cases, you can expect it to last even longer. If you notice rapid wear or unexpected signs of aging, reach out—we’re here to help.
Is the STROPPi antibacterial?
Yes. The STROPPi is formulated with thyme oil, a naturally derived antibacterial known for its skin-friendly properties.
We intentionally leave out conventional synthetic agents like Triclosan and Triclocarban—chemicals often linked to irritation, hormonal disruption, and environmental harm. Instead, we’ve chosen a safer, more sustainable path that supports both skin health and the planet. The result is an antibacterial shaving lubricant designed to never compromise your body or the environment.
Can I use the STROPPi for shaping my beard or neckline?
Yes, you can! The STROPPi is especially well-suited for smooth shaves and trimming thinner facial hair with precision. Its clear formula lets you see exactly where you’re shaving, making it ideal for shaping beards or defining necklines without any guesswork.
Just keep in mind that when working with thicker or longer hair, you’ll need to strop the bar more frequently to maintain a smooth glide and avoid tugging. For the best experience, soak your hair and skin for 5 to 10 minutes beforehand to soften your hair and ensure a comfortable shave.

I'm a head shaver and do so daily. The stroppi did exactly what it's supposed to and made my shaving experience the easiest and best it's ever been. My razor never got gunked up and was always super easy to rinse off as well, unlike when I've used regular shaving creams. It also was easier than shaving oils I've tried or gells. Been using it for weeks now and I honestly can say it has drastically improved my shaving game. Thank you
The stroppi is amazing. I never had such a smooth and close shave ever. So easy to use, an no irritation either. I highly recommend this product. I also love the fact that you can just put it on the back splash like behind the sink for quick use.
I cannot speak more highly of Luke who is one of the owners of this company. I was disappointed that the Kickstarter project didn't come to fruitation, however I was still able to order some products directly on this site. I placed an order. A few weeks later, I was sent an email by the company asking if I received it because the tracking number didn't show delivered. I thanked Luke for reaching out to me first (versus me reaching out to him), I explained that I didn't receive the product but didn't mind waiting a few more days. Luke immediately shiped me a new order and I received it 3 days later. I tried the product and was originally disappointed. I emailed Luke requesting a refund. He said that he will gladly provide a refund but recommended that I first try a few suggestiones. I tried those suggestons and the product worked amazing!! I used a Gillette Mach 3 Turbo razor with the Stroppi. I cannot tell you how good of shave that I've had. NO HAIR WAS MISSED!! I will definately order again from Stroppi. In fact, I've even asked Luke to keep me in mind for future products that he might need tested. I would love to work with him and the Sansnik team in the near future! Got my stroppi today and really like it. It does what it's supposed to in lubricating the blade and never felt like it would "nik" myself. Let's see how long it lasts, but I'm definitely giving 5 ⭐️s on first experience..
i dislike shaving. caucasian male, moderately coarse and full facial hair, started shaving at 16 and been doing this for almost 35 years now. i have used razors of all forms, safety to the most bladed of blades, as well as a host of different electric ones. no matter which cream/lather/oil/gel i used, and no matter which style or direction i shaved, the left side of my neck/jaw and both sides of my upper lip were always irritated and no combination of above+aftercare resolved it. switching to electric to me was always unsatisfying because no matter the advertising, none feel as close as a blade. and while i could grow a beard to bypass it all, and have, i live in AZ and it’s just too much for most of the year.
i put all that at the forefront because i want to put it in context of who i am, and that i have tried many, many things over the years.
so, i was truly not expecting much from this product but loved the idea (i’m a sucker for the “we’ve been doing this wrong” pitch). so after getting the sample after the kickstarter didn’t make it (also an incredible idea) i brought it on a trip as a second thought (packs smaller than a bottle), and used it first on a three day beard with a gillette fusion. followed the instructions carefully. and no irritation. anywhere. next was two day. same. then once home and back on the daily. same. no irritation. no bumps. no epidermal shearing from multiple passes. it works so well. turns out it is a remarkable product, and we HAVE been doing it wrong! it works the way they say. for the first time since i have started shaving, i don’t have red patches on my face for the first 6 hours of the day. i can shave right before going out with my wife and not feel, you know, put together.
i’m saddened that the kickstarter didn’t make it, because after about 10 uses now with 3 different razors, the results have been consistent and fantastic, i love the stroppi. i hope it finds another way to market.

Great idea and great product. I shave 1x per week and I usually use face soap (instead of shaving cream) after a shower. The stroppi works better than my current routine and I'm thinking it will also help my razors last longer. Thank you!!
